Royal IHC Invests in Local Talent Hiring Two Northumberland Skills Students as Apprentices

Royal IHC UK, a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced offshore equipment and subsea vehicles for the offshore and renewable energy sectors, and an employer member of Energy Central Campus, has welcomed two students, Joshua Cox and Evan Bowes, as apprentices after they successfully completed their Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing with Northumberland Skills.

Both students studied at the Energy Central Learning Hub in Blyth, a state-of-the-art training facility at the heart of the region’s growing clean energy cluster.

By investing in new talent, Royal IHC UK is reinforcing its commitment to supporting young people, strengthening its workforce, and helping to build the clean energy workforce of the future.

Joshua and Evan will now begin their careers with a world-class engineering company at the forefront of clean energy innovation. By nurturing local talent and working closely with training providers such as Northumberland Skills, Royal IHC UK is helping to open new pathways into high-quality careers in the sector.
